Properly protecting and managing the personal information entrusted to us
is a social responsibility we take seriously as a staffing-services company.

Jobee Co., Ltd. (hereinafter, "the Company") complies with the Act on the Protection of Personal Information and all related laws and regulations in its handling of personal information, and appropriately collects, uses, and manages personal information in accordance with the policy set out below.

01Definition of Personal Information

In this Policy, "personal information" refers to information about a living individual as defined in Article 2, Paragraph 1 of the Act on the Protection of Personal Information — including the individual's name, date of birth, address, telephone number, email address, employer, and any other information that can identify a specific individual by the descriptions contained therein, as well as information containing an individual identification code.

02Collection of Personal Information

The Company collects personal information by lawful and fair means. Information we collect may include the following.

  • Name, company name, and contact details provided through inquiry forms, phone, email, and similar channels
  • Résumés, work histories, residence status information, and various qualifications or skill information provided during jobseeker / candidate registration
  • Access logs, cookies, IP addresses, and other information automatically collected when you browse our website
  • Contact-person information and transaction-related information provided by client companies

03Purposes of Use

The Company uses the personal information it collects within the scope of the following purposes.

  • Carrying out operations related to our worker-dispatch business and fee-charging job-placement business
  • Referring jobs to jobseekers and registered staff, informing them of employment opportunities, and providing career support
  • Referring candidates to client companies, fulfilling staffing contracts, and providing post-placement support
  • Responding to inquiries and consultations, sending materials, and providing other communications
  • Improving the quality of our services, preparing statistical data, and analyzing usage trends
  • Responding to requests from governmental authorities as required by law

04Provision to Third Parties

The Company does not provide personal information to third parties without obtaining the individual's prior consent. However, the following cases are exceptions.

  • When required by law
  • When necessary to protect the life, body, or property of a person, and it is difficult to obtain the individual's consent
  • When particularly necessary for the improvement of public health or the promotion of the sound development of children, and it is difficult to obtain the individual's consent
  • When cooperation with a national government agency, local government body, or a party entrusted by either is necessary for the performance of legally prescribed duties
  • When providing jobseeker information to client companies within the scope necessary to perform staffing or placement services (in such cases, we generally obtain the jobseeker's prior consent before providing the information)

05Outsourcing of Handling

The Company may outsource all or part of the handling of personal information within the scope necessary to achieve the purposes of use. In such cases, we enter into an agreement on the handling of personal information with the contractor and exercise appropriate oversight.

06Security Measures

The Company takes organizational, human, physical, and technical security measures to prevent the leakage, loss, or damage of the personal information it handles.

  • Appointment of a personal information protection manager and regular training for employees
  • Entry/exit control in areas where personal information is handled, and lock-and-key management of documents and data
  • Minimizing access privileges, password management, and detecting unauthorized access through log collection
  • Encryption of communication paths (SSL/TLS), installation of anti-virus software, and regular updates

07Disclosure, Correction, Suspension of Use

If an individual requests the disclosure, correction, addition, deletion, suspension of use, erasure, or suspension of third-party provision of their own personal information, we will respond within a reasonable period and scope in accordance with applicable law.
